When and where? Join us to celebrate Co-operatives Fortnight on the 28th June at the Swindon Marriott Hotel, Pipers Way, Swindon, SN3 1SH from 10.00am to 12.30pm with a buffet lunch provided.
Richard Daws, co-founder of Komedia comedy venues, will tell the story of the conversion of Komedia Bath into a successful community-owned social business, with lots of celebrity supporters.
Midcounties Co-operative is offering £500 to each of two social enterprises or any other business that decides to pursue the co-op model, following this event. This is accompanied by up to two days of consultancy time for each organisation, courtesy of Co-operative Futures.
This event is hosted by Midcounties Co-operative and run by Co-operative Futures. Co-operative Futures is a specialist business support organisation focused on co-ops, community owned businesses and social enterprises.
